What a big day in American History!  We now have a President that is not 100% Caucasian!  I was watching the ceremony on television, and was sure glad that I wasn’t there, freezing my butt off!  I understand so many people wanting to be a part of the history, but considering how much I was unimpressed by so much of the ceremony I am certainly glad I was watching from the warmth of my house!  But I’m glad that it is done, and hope that we can get down to business fixing the many problems that have been created by past administrations.

I hope everyone had a good New Year’s Eve celebration! We had a small party here at home; all participants stayed the night. Good music, good food, good company. Everyone brought some food to share, and no one got obnoxiously drunk, nothing got broken, no one got sick. So I’d say that was a pretty good party!
