Smash and crash
My sister lives in a house at the bottom of a hill. That has always made me nervous, but she has always just laughed at me, telling me that I’m being silly. Well, this afternoon I went over to see her and found that a truck had rolled down the hill and smashed into her car that was parked in front of her house! The truck pushed the car half-way to the house! If the car hadn’t been there to slow the truck down, I’m sure that the truck would have ended up in my sister’s bedroom! It seems that the guy who had been driving the truck forgot to turn his wheels to the curb, forgot to put on the parking brake, and left the truck in neutral! What a mess! I hope the insurance company totals the car; it will never be the same again after this crash! And thank goodness no one was hurt!
