Recently a new Harris Teeter store opened up in town.  Everyone’s been raving about how they offer double coupons – even sometimes triple coupons!  And if you sign up for their VIC card you will get coupons in the mail for $10 off a $40 purchase.  So I went ahead and started shopping there.  I have to say that although in general the store is impressive, I was disappointed in their limited supply of some of the products that my family buys a lot of – for example their selection of jams and jellies was very small.  And the mini-baby bel cheeses that my wife loves to eat cost twice as much as Harris Teeter than at Wal-Mart!  I guess we will have to be very consumer savvy and make sure we know exactly what is a good price and what isn’t a good price!
