My sister Janet’s birthday is next month, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to give her for a gift.  My wife tells me that Janet has been talking about wanting to get some Disney On Ice Tickets for Christmas, and she didn’t get them.  So maybe I’ll talk to her about getting them for her for her birthday.  I don’t want to buy them and then find out she had bought some herself too!

I found a good place to go online to get affordable tickets to just about any event you can imagine wanting to go to.  It is called acheapseat.com.  My friend Bob told me about it when he said he bought some cheap New York Knicks Tickets last year.  And I used it to buy some Los Angeles Lakers Tickets for a gift for my brother-in-law Tom when the Lakers were playing in town.  Tom is a big Lakers fan and he was deliriously happy when I gave him those tickets!  So now whenever I need tickets for something I check out their website first!

Well I hope your Christmas was filled with fun, friends, family, and food. We had a quiet Christmas this year. Money and the economy being what it is, we cut way back on our Christmas gifts. We had a big family gathering at our place though, and everyone brought some food to share. We had a good time sharing old family memories.

Thankfully everyone seemed to get along fine. With this family, you never know what is going to erupt when we all get together! I’m glad Christmas only comes once a year! I don’t think my poor wife could stand the stress if it came more often!
