My wife and I decided to go ahead and join the Hillbilly Club.  The club participates in several parades every year and raises money for charities.  So we were invited to join the club for its monthly meeting and pot luck supper.  We thought we were supposed to show up dressed in overalls and work boots, so my wife went to the Tractor Supply store and bought us some overalls to wear to the meeting.  And she spent most of the day preparing a pasta salad to take to the pot luck.  Much to our surprise, no one else showed up wearing overalls!  So we felt a little bit out of place!  Oh well, now we know that the overalls are not required for the meetings!

My sister in law wanted me to take her for a ride on my Harley, but she wasn’t wearing the right clothes for safety.  My wife tried to rustle up what she needed, but could only find a denim jacket and her snow boots to lend her.  I was surprised because I know that she’s got a nice pair of leather boots.  I have to wonder if she was worried about ruining her good boots.
