Pets

Pets are so funny sometimes. I can’t imagine life without them in my life. Especially dogs. Their loyalty is amazing. And they often do so many silly things that bring a smile or laugh to their human companion! For example, this video on YouTube of a cute little corgi that does a special happy dance every morning as he receives his breakfast! What a great way to start the day!

Bah Humbug hat

A few years ago my wife bought a Santa hat that had “Bah Humbug” embroidered on the front of it white fur part.  I wore that hat all day long today at work and everyone that saw me wearing it complimented me on my choice of chapeaus.  Several people asked me where I got it!  It’s nice that people can still laugh at things like that!  We all need a good laugh from time to time.  I was just looking to see if there is a picture on the Internet of the hat that I wore, but I couldn’t find one!  I found some similar ones that are black in color, but none in red like what I got.  So I guess now I can just feel “special” in my red Bah Humbug Santa hat!

Book binding

Have you ever seen a velobind machine in operation?  I hadn’t until I went to an office services store where they do photocopying and faxing and laminating.  I had to run to the store and get some posters laminated for the next Elks convention and I saw the employees there operating the machine.  I thought it was really interesting; I’ve never seen book binding happening in front of my eyes before!

Last minute gifts

I have to hand it to my wife – she is a wizard at coming up with last minute gift ideas. Her sister was panicking because she needed to come up with a last minute gift for someone that she hadn’t shopped for. Well, it only took a couple of minutes before we had a nice gift of assorted hot chocolate mixes in a brand new mug all wrapped up and ready to be gifted! Wife saves the day – again!
