Going GREEN is certainly a major issue and is playing a key role that is being embraced by so many people and businesses all around the country and most of the rest of the world as well. Good, productive, positive and constructive efforts are being made in this effort to keep our mother earth from being too ill to take care of each and every one us all in the future.
A colleague of mine has been researching some of the new outdoor wood furnaces that are on the market, in an effort to find the wood furnace accessories for his newly purchased earth friendly outdoor wood furnace. I was privy to this task taking place online and found the prospect of an outdoor wood heating source of major interest.
I like many of the features that make this a high quality energy alternative product has to offer. So I’ve been looking into the prospect of purchasing one, reducing my annual heating costs all year round, while reducing my dependency on foreign fuels, with totally renewable fuels.
I’d be doing my part in going GREEN, although I do my part almost every day, I’ve always been an avid recycler considering my parents were from the hippie generation and they brought us up with a lot of their beliefs and concerns about our Mother Earth since day one. Recycling only makes sense and the city that I live in provides curbside recyclables pick up, which makes this small task so much easier for it’s citizens.
And most of us are keenly aware of the numerous Benefits of Solar Power Energy which is a very hot topic these days. I was just reading a post on Facebook that an old high school buddy put on there about how Germany set a solar record last weekend by generating nearly half of its total electricity with photovoltaics! Just think of all the good we could accomplish if everyone in every country all around the world would and could use Renewable Energy. It just boggles my mind.
He posted this picture as well.
