Well I got a home improvement job to start tomorrow. Someone called me wanting a wall torn out and replaces with an archway going from their dining room to their living room. They really wanted the whole wall taken out if possible but it is a weight baring wall and wasn’t possible. So I told them that I could take most of the wall out in the middle, put an archway in it and leave about a quarter of the wall on each side of the archway. They were happy with that.
I’ve got all of the materials since they called on Friday and I was able to price the job and check it out before I had to go to my part time job. That new job is going to take a couple of days to complete and I think they’re going to want flooring too once I finish the wall. They are just about going to have to have more flooring because of removing part of the wall. It might turn into a pretty good job for me in the end. I sure hope it does anyway.

Tom has been talking with us about whether or not to propose to Suzi at Christmas this year. Well, mostly he’s been talking to us, and we’ve been listening to him. He was asking my wife if she would be willing to take Suzi to the mall with the pretense of going Christmas shopping and while they are there doing a bit of window shopping at the mall’s jewelry stores. His train of thought is that if he can get my wife to understand what kind of engagement rings she likes without Suzi catching on, then maybe Tom will be able to sneak back later with my wife and buy the one that Suzi likes the best, then surprise her with it at Christmas when he proposes to her. My wife likes the idea a lot. What do you think?

After I picked Justin up from the airport he asked me if we could stop by the mall on the way home. I was really tired – it had been a long day and I really didn’t want to delay getting home any longer than absolutely necessary, so I asked him what was it that he needed to get. He told me that he was interested in checking out an ebs amp at guitar center because he was thinking about replacing his old amp. I asked him if he could just wait and go tomorrow because I was so tired that I could barely keep my eyes open. He agreed, and I was glad to be able to come home and hit the sack early.

In our modern life, one thing you can’t escape is the need to have the proper drivers for your computer. Without these drivers, your computer can be slow and sometimes will not even work at all. I was glad to find a site that had the solution to the problem. They have over a million different drivers for just about any thing you can imagine. I knew that I had to try out the service.
The first test I had for the service was to find the proper Video Drivers for my setup. I had been having problems in that area and they were quickly cleared up when I was able to install the correct driver. Another area I was interested in was to find the right Lexmark Drivers for my printer. That cleared up a lot of problems right away. Now I can print anything I want seemingly without a problem.
The last area that needed attention was my need for the latest Windows XP Drivers. Keeping my computer up to date is difficult and time consuming. I was glad to find that my computer was running great and was quicker than before. I’ve told many people about the site and I hope everyone will be able to take advantage of it!
Jacob is really excited about going to the mall this weekend to buy a blackfinger tube compressor at musicians friend. He has been saving his money for about six weeks, scrimping and saving, and he finally has enough money to pay cash for it. He had asked us to lend him the money to buy it, but we had a long talk about setting goals, learning to delay gratification, and saving money instead of going into debt and borrowing money. He wasn’t very happy to have to wait a few weeks, but he certainly is proud that when he gets it he will not have to worry about trying to repay a loan, it will be his, free and clear!
