One thing I always like to do is too dress comfortably. I really don’t like to dress to formally as the buttons and fancy shoes tend to pinch me in the wrong places. Since I have to dress up a certain amount for work, I like to relax when I get home. A friend of mine told me about a site that has some really comfortable clothes to wear. The good thing is that it has clothes for both men and women.

The funny thing is that these comfortable clothed are actually uniforms. Isn’t that wild? They are what nurses and doctors wear to work and they are called scrubs. They come in many different styles and colors and they are surprisingly cheap. You can order them online from several different websites.

These clothes are becoming all the rage with certain people. You can look nice as well as be comfortable. Kids also like them as my daughter has some. She says many of the kids wear them as well. They go well with anything and keep you warm at night. I am thinking of getting some more and stocking my closet full of them. That way, I am certain to have whatever I need for any occasion.

Stu told me that his parents promised him a new guitar as a graduation gift when he finishes high school. He is a junior this year, but he is already looking for the one that he wants to ask his parents to purchase for him. He knows they have a budget, and he is trying to stick to their budget. He was asking me for advice on where he coud find the best ibanez selection. I suggested that he try and Google the phrase Ibanez guitars and see what happens.

What happened to silver and gold?

When Marianne told us that she was finally convinced to tie the know with Geoff, we were quite surprised. They had been living together for almost ten years now, and we thought that they were going to just continue that un-married status forever. I’m not sure exactly what changed her mind; she had always said that she had no interest in getting married. She was telling us that they are going to have a very small ceremony at their house, with only a justice of the peace performing the ritual. They will be exchanging matching tungsten rings for their wedding bands instead of gold. I wonder why tungsten is becoming more popular lately with the crowds.

Science project secret

Sometimes I have to wonder what in the world the kids are up to with their science projects. I’ve learned over the years to not interfere – they aren’t little kids anymore, but when they ask me where they can find a local company that performs tube bending services I have a really hard time not asking a million questions! I swear if they weren’t such upstanding kids, I’d wonder if they were up to mischief!

Jelly Bean Rip Off

Of all the Easter candies, I have always like the jelly beans best. I don’t know why, but jelly beans mean Easter to me! I don’t eat them any other time of year, either. In fact, I doubt that most stores even carry jelly beans the rest of the year.

I was excited to find a bag of jelly beans on sale for 50% off at the grocery store, since they were trying to get rid of all the leftover Easter candies. I decided to get a bag and keep it as my secret stash of something sweet, and getting the bag for half price make me feel a little victorious, too.

After I got home, I broke open the bag and picked out a black jelly bean. The licorice flavor of black jelly beans has always been my favorite. One year I found a bag of jelly beans that was ALL black jelly beans. I was in heaven! But that was several years ago and i have not seen that again. Evidently it was not a big seller, but I would have bought a bag or two faithfully every year if I could find them at the store!

So, I picked out a black jelly bean from my discount bag of leftover candy and was expecting to taste licorice. It had no flavor at all – just an overpowering sweetness. I was crushed. In fact, none of the jellybeans had any flavor related to any of the colors. The orange jelly beans did not taste like orange. The yellow ones did not taste like lemon. and, worst of all, the black ones did not taste of licorice.

I have never heard of this brand of candy before, but evidently they do not believe that the colors are supposed to be associated with different fruit flavors. So, jelly bean buyers beware – don’t just grab a bag without looking for the brand and reading the packaging regarding flavors, or you risk a jelly bean rip off like I just experienced.
