Do you have someone in your life that you care about but that you dread to call on the telephone?  My step-mother is one of those people.  It seems like every time I call her to say hello she finds some excuse to sound like she is fussing at me.  For example if I tell her that somebody in the family did or said something that wasn’t a good thing she will fuss at me as if it is my fault that the person said or did that thing.  So all I’m doing is filling in what is/was going on with family members and how others are dealing with the fallout and I get fussed at!  Makes me not want to call her and let her know what was going on!
