There are still way too many senior citizens out there that are still intimidated with the Internet although the numbers are on the rise for our seniors buying computers in order to use the email function alone in order to keep in touch with friends and family members that are so important to keep in touch with. Families are spreading out more and more, the days of families staying in the same city, town or county or even in the same state are long gone. Folks are moving around all over the country, mainly for employment reasons and the numbers of people leaving the good old U.S. of A are still high as well.
I know my folks are both pretty much up to speed on their computer at home. And I hear that they are trying to help some of their elderly friends get on to the Wide World Web and use it more than just for email and photo sharing.
