I think one of the reasons my wife doesn’t like to go shopping with me is that I slow her down. She complains that it takes her twice as long to get the shopping done when I’m with her. I don’t think that’s true, but I DO enjoy browsing around in the electronics and the toy sections of the stores that we frequent. My wife tells me that taking me shopping is like taking a kid shopping in a candy store! I see so many great things and want them all!
So when my wife put me in charge of shopping for toys for our nephew’s birthday party coming up, I was thrilled! I could spend all day shopping for such classic toys as building sets or action figures.
And don’t even get me started on remote control toys! I have a large collection of those at home for myself! I love it when kids come over to my house; it gives me a great excuse to get them out from the toy closet and show them off!
