One of the things that we really liked about this house when we were house hunting was how the master bathroom had two lavatories in it. The lavatories are beside each other in one large vanity area, with a space in between them that has two drawers under the counter top and an opening to accommodate a vanity stool. The entire wall behind the vanity counter is one large mirror, topped with a strip bar of five Hollywood dressing room style lights. The bathroom faucets are a single head knob-style that are supposed to look like crystal. They are attractive enough, but my wife has always told me that she wants to replace those faucets with a lever style. She says that the knob style of faucet is painful for her to grip, and as we get older she thinks that a lever style faucet will be easier to control.
At first I thought she was being a little bit over-cautious with her concerns, but I have noticed that in the past six months or so that the faucet on one of the sinks has been very difficult to control. Maybe I will look into replacing those faucets sooner than I had planned after all!
