Turning jars into vases and glasses

My wife is very interested in crafting, and turning trash into treasure with her crafting projects. Yesterday she was watching a video about how you can use diamond saw blades to cut glass jars into glasses and vases, and now she is asking me if I have any diamond saw blades that she could use for that purpose. If I’m not mistaken, I saw a kit in a craft store designed to do exactly that. Maybe I’ll take her to the craft store and see if they still have it. I think I’d rather her have that kit than get her using my tools!

Skill with a chainsaw

I love my chainsaw. My chainsaw is one of my favorite tools. I don’t get the chance to cut down as many trees as I’d like to since we moved into the suburbs. But every now and then someone in the neighborhood will lose a tree to a big storm and then I’m happy to help them remove the tree and cut it up. My wife teases me about how I like to brag about my skills in cutting down a tree and being able to make sure it lands exactly where I want it to land. So when she saw this video on YouTube of a man using a chainsaw to open a bottle of beer, she just had to share it with me. I have to say that this guy is good! And now I have something to try to do as well!
